Senior Regional Squad 2011/12
Our senior regional squad, shown right are currently playing in the South West Regional League Division 2 section. We have a dedicated squad who are fully committed to playing at this higher standard. Our squad members this season are:

Regional League games take place on scheduled Saturdays, and at present our home venue is The David English Centre, East Way, Bournemouth. Details of forthcoming home fixtures are listed below… supporters are most welcome.

Regional Match Report – Saturday 22nd October 2011
Home to Team Jets from Jersey
The away team took the first quarter by storm and left the Bournemouth team shell shocked with a 6 -18 score line. We tried to play a defensive game throughout with Karen, Becky and Lily putting the pressure on Team Jets goal Scorers who hardly missed a shot and the rest of the team fighting to keep the ball out of their goal third.
Bournemouth continued to fight bringing on fresh legs to try and unsettle the opposition.
Team Jets really showed whose boss in the third quarter taking a 47-16 goal lead. But Bournemouth came
back even more determined and feisty to break down Jersey’s game in the last quarter. We took them by surprise when an interception in their own goal third took only 2 passes into Bournemouth’s goal circle to score a goal! Team Jets were a little dumb founded when Bournemouth won the last quarter 11-8! We will need to work on playing a last quarter as every quarter!!
The final score was 55-27 so Bournemouth miss out on a point this week.
Come on girls, remember remember the 5th November – when we are going to rock the boat in Swindon!
